For a a New Year's Eve baby..

My niece had a baby girl this morning.. I was thinking she might make it till midnight and have the first baby of the new year, but nope! This is a card I made for her.. working on another with a photo of the new little one.. Used some of my favorite WeRMEmory Keepers paper and old BG paper and one of about a gazillion round coasters I have in my stash, a baby pin and beads and a vintage MF tag.. oh and some pearls. Love these little pearls! A little stitching and some inking and it is finished. I should have waited until the morning and taken a good photo, but used the scanner instead.. easier!! Will deliver this tomorrow along with some little felt booties and burp cloths I made.. Love making baby cards!! Don't drink too much bubbly tonight! We have already been out for dinner and played games at my parents' house.. had a little bubbly with them and now we are home.. safe and sound before all the wacky traffic gets on the roads..

A whole month!!

I can't believe it has been a month since I posted. All I can say is that December was a busy month for me and my family. I have enjoyed having my sister her fiance and my nephew here for Christmas but they are now back at their home and we are winding down.
I am one of those people who love the Christmas tree and decorations for a few weeks but am ready for them to come down as soon as Christmas day is over!! That being said my house is now decoration free and all clean and tidy to ring in the new year.
We have had quite a bit of snow here yesterday and today and it looks lovely outside. The kids and I are off to see The Waterhorse and pick up a few groceries.
My sister celebrated her birthday here and I made her this card. This has been the extent of my playing in my happy room for a few weeks. I hope to work in here tomorrow and have several ideas in my head! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely holiday with your families.. Oh!! Adelle and Trish please send me your addresses so I can post you something in the mail. You were the three that responded to my Pay it Forward post!!
